Television Show Links (Originally posted September 26, 2009)

So there are some television shows that I just can't get enough of. These are some links to website created about the shows I like. Hope you enjoy. I'll add more as time goes on.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer (most of these sites cover the series Angel as well, another one of my favorites)
Buffy Comics
Really complete site about all the comics pertaining to the the Buffyverse. It covers and listed them in chronological/numerical order. Terrific reference guide.

Buffy Guide Site set up to have a complete listing of all episodes from the series. Has a fun quotes sections because you can never get enough of those witty lines from the show.

Buffyverse Wiki Now this is the site! Want to know about Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Angel. Go here. Great for finding out just about any thing on these two shows. Enjoy.

Amy Acker's Website Amy Acker played often mousey and quirky but extremely smart and always lovely Winifred 'Fred' Burkle on Angel. Her character was later taken over by an entity named Illyria who helped battle the forces of evil at the end of the series. Amy is currently working with Eliza Dushku on Joss Whedon's Dollhouse. Unfortunately the site has not been updated in awhile.

Amber Benson’s Website (blog) Amber Benson played shy and loving witch Tara Maclay on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Tara was killed off on the show to move Willow (Alyson Hannigan's character) to the dark side of Magics. Tara was a wonderful character and it was very difficult to see her character killed off. Amber is doing a LOT of things including writing and co-writing books and comics, producing, directing and acting in her own movies and acting in guest appearances on shows like Supernatural.

Nicholas Brendon's Website Nicholas Brendon played Xander Harris the mostly comic relief of the show's early running. Later you find out that if Buffy is the strength and back bone of everything that fights evil in Sunnydale, Xander is the heart and soul. He is uncoruptable and loyal to his friends to the end. Nicholas is also doing some guest appearances on various shows and it was a suprise to see him on Criminal Minds.

Eliza Dushku's Website Eliza Dushku played the rough and tumble bad girl Slayer Faith. Through a series of events and reckless behavior Faith begins to move down an evil path. Troubled as she is she gives into her dark side and becomes one of Buffy's worst enemies and nightmares. Through the series Angel and the last season of Buffy, Faith redeems herself and fights along side Buffy to destroy Sunnydale's Hellmouth. Eliza is currently working as the producer and acting, along side Amy Acker, in Joss Whedon's Dollhouse.

Seth Green's Website Seth Green played Daniel 'Oz' Osborne the Werewolf cursed member of the Scooby Gang on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. As well as doing comedies from time to time Seth is also one of the creators of Comedy Central's Robotchicken. He is a very funny man.

Anthony Head's Website Anthony Head played Ruppert Giles Buffy's Watcher on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Anthony has done a lot of other work in England that many Americans have not seen. Sometimes he plays the villian and he is REALLY good at it.

Juliet Landau's Website Juliet Landau played the beautifully vicous and evil Drusilla on both Buffy and Angel. Dru was demented but always lovely. Juliet is currently working on her own productions and co-writing some comics for the Angel line. She also guest stars on various shows.

James Marsters Website James Marsters played the one, the only bad boy Vampire who later would gain his soul and become a good guy Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Spike was also a regular on the last season of the Angel series and was Angel's bane.....but in a good way. James has also guest starred on shows like Smallville and Torchwood.

Doctor Who The good doctor has one of the longest running shows in history. I absolutely love the show and although it takes some time to get used to each new doctor they usually will win you over pretty quick.
Doctor Who Reference Guide This is a great site set up by a fan. It has tons of information about not only each episode but all books, short stories, comics and just about anything else that has the written word about Doctor Who.

Tardis Library This is another great site that has all stories listed. Combining this site with the Doctor Who Reference Guide site you can find out anything you need about any of the doctors. This site also has images and links to Amazon.com for every book and episode in case you wish to purchase them. Also has the list in sortable tables to make it easier to locate what you are looking for.

TARDIS Index Files (Doctor Who Wiki) A Wiki about everything Doctor Who. Has links to various other sites and loaded with information about the different doctors, his companions, enemies and additional characters. Also has information about the spin off shows Torchwood and The Sarah Jane Adventures. Very informative.

The Official BBC Homepage of Doctor Who Hmmm. I think this one kind of speaks for it's self. Has pages for the blog, episode guide, latest news and lots more.

Chicago Tardis The Midwest premier Doctor Who convention. It's a smaller convention but they get some great autograph guest and they look to grow every year. Fun little convention to go to.

Daphne Ashbrook's Website Daphne played the 8th Doctor Who's (Paul McGann) companion Doctor Grace Holloway. The 8th Doctor is the 'movie Doctor' who only appeared in that movie but not in any of the series run.

Gareth David Lloyd's Website Gareth plays Ianto Jones on both the Doctor Who and the Torchwood series.

Louise Jameson's Website Louise Jameson played the 4th Doctor Who's (Tom Baker) companion Leela, Warrior of the Sevateem. There were some very funny moments on the show between the almost barbaric Leela and the ultra technological K-9. Any teen or pre-teen boy who watched Doctor Who and saw Leela for the first time fell in love with her. I guarantee it.
